When The Blind Harper Took On The Chief of MacLeod The life story of Ruaidhri MacMhuirich, the last harper to the MacLeods of Dunvegan, his patron Iain Breac and Iain’s son and heir, Ruaidhri who is the subject of the bitingly satirical song.

Some of the Northwest's finest Celtic musicians will perform to raise money for financial aid and travel expenses for Feis students and faculty. Dance to the sounds of pipe, fiddle and clarsach and join in the singing.

Each year near the Celtic New Year, Samhain (say: SAH-veen) , harpers have gathered at Galway Traders to welcome the turning of the wheel. I'm very happy to have been accepted to participate again this year. Free.
I'll be helping to adjudicate the Nationals, teaching, and performing as a part of the Stone Mountain Highland Games and Scottish Festival. Competitions on Saturday afternoon, private lessons available on Sunday morning, and a lecture about Ruaidhri MacMhuirich, the blind harper who was the last harper to the MacLeods of Dunvegan.
